Paris Midnight Blues Festival
Organised by Association Groov’it
1. Admission & Code of Conduct
The Paris Midnight Blues Festival aims to provide a safe, welcoming and respectful environment.
All participants, volunteers, teachers, musicians and staff members must be able to enjoy the event without feeling threatened or unsafe.
The organisers reserve the right to take any action they deem necessary in case of inappropriate, disrespectful, unsafe or harassing behaviour.
This may include — but is not limited to — issuing a warning, removing the participant from part or all of the event, or refusing admission to future editions.
No refund will be granted if exclusion occurs during the event.
The organisers also reserve the right to refuse a registration.
2. Levels
This year, no auditions will be held.
Each participant selects their own level based on their dance abilities and the descriptions available on the website.
However, the teaching team and the organisers reserve the right to move a participant to a different level if the chosen level clearly does not match their dancing skills. This decision is final and cannot be contested.
3. Registration
Registration is completed through the Viens On Swing platform, including payment via HelloAsso.
Payment can be made in one or two instalments.
After submitting the registration form, each participant receives an email confirming:
- admission to the event, or
- placement on the waiting list (due to a full level or role imbalance).
Payment must be completed within 7 days of receiving the confirmation email.
If payment is not received within this period, the registration is automatically cancelled.
4. Waiting List
If a level is full or if there is a lead/follow imbalance, the registration will be placed on a waiting list.
If a spot becomes available, people on the waiting list will be contacted in order of registration.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Refunds are available only upon presentation of a medical certificate, under the following conditions:
- More than 2 months before the event: 100% refund
- More than 1 month before the event: 50% refund
- More than 2 weeks before the event: 25% refund
- After this period: no refund
Outside of these medical cases, the organisers do not issue refunds.
6. Pass Transfer
Participants may transfer their pass in full under the following conditions:
- the pass must be transferred to someone of the same role (lead/follow) and same level;
- the organisers must be notified via email with the full name and email address of the new participant;
- participants must handle the financial aspect of the transfer themselves.
The transfer is only valid after confirmation from the organisers.
7. Photos & Videos
By attending the festival, participants agree to be photographed and/or filmed, and authorize Association Groov’it to use these images for the promotion of the festival or the association.
8. Programme Changes
The organisers reserve the right to modify:
- the programme,
- the class schedule,
- the teaching lineup,
- venues, time slots, or any logistical element.
Any changes will be communicated as soon as possible.
